| I would also think that since alot of animes use the same voice actors for different shows that even despite different appearances voices from one show reminds me of another |

That could be very true especially with caharacters that have outbursts of anger or surprise. Even though the good voice actors should be able to voice act differently for each character |

I was just rewatching Haibane Renmei and it struck me
Rakka form Haibane Renmei reminds me a lot of Kikuchi Yume from Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto. Don`t really know why. The age maybe or the way they both tend to bi a bit mellow. |

Whenever there is a scar on face of an anime character, it is always is on their left side near their eye....

oh oh, I`ve been meaning to tell you
I remembered an anime that defys this "rule"/trend for the scars to be on the left side
In Sousei no Aquarion TWO charachters have the scar on the right side ..... those bastards |

so you don`t appreciate anime, just the subtitles?
a joke
I don`t think that anime is that similar. Just that you can find certain point that are like walking down the street and suddenly seeing someone you think you recognize, but realizing it`s someone else |

lol... I agree that most characters have a scar through the left eye. But if its near the eye, the authors would probably think that itd be cooler if the character has a scar through their eye.
I reckon having a scar across his face is quite original, since the actual manga, which was used to make the anime, was made around in the 1970s to 1980s if im correct..... _________________

| The animation of X-TV is somewhat confusing. Fuma, Subaru, Kamui and Sorata (only once in a while) are somewhat similar in terms of looks until you get to know them a little better ! |

I wonder if a lot of that depends on who's animating the anime. For example, I was just reading "Trigun" and I noticed that the characters had similarities to the characters from "Short Program" (not that they were written by the same author). However, the manga version of Vash and Co. look different from the anime version. So, in that case, someone else was drawing the characters or else Nightow suddenly changed his style.
There have been lots of commentary on how similar 'Trinity Blood' is to 'Trigun' and aside from characteristics, even the animation is pretty similar, so if the animators are the same, then that explains the similarities (between those two, anyway). |

If the main character (don't remember his name) had that X shaped scar of his left side, I m sure the creator of Kenshin is going to file a law suit....
Anyway.... there still just are too many anime characters with similar scar on their face.... _________________

Haha, it was just a thought. Oh well.
On the other hand, the various animators and character designers probably borrow from each other, too. |
