Banner Question :: As in making one

Not sure if I'm in the right place for this...

But, I'm interested in making a banner for this site, for the main page. My question is some of the specifics in the design. Like I'm assuming it's part of a .tpl template (phpnuke uses them) would I be allowed (sensitive) access to this file, or I could I just make a plain old HTML table? If its HTML (I'm assuming this is the case) could I get the dimensions for the table (number of colums, colum widths, etc.). Lastly, I would like to know if flash is allowed, and a target file size if it is.

PM me if you want to authenticate my skills before wasting the time to get me this info, also forgive me if this question is in the wrong thread or has been posted before, I did a forum search and came up with natta.

P.S. I read the avatar thread and its my understanding the size limit for both avatar and sig is 250kb, am I mistaken?

About the banner, i think they can be just jpg, gif or png formats so you shouldn't need to have access to the server. You can just create a simple banner which is related to an anime. The rules are stated in the Fan Works section. Remember to send it to Kaiser for him to check.

The avatar and signatures combined must not exceed 250KB. However, there is a still a rule for the pixel size. So, don't use avatar and sigs that doesn't match the rule. Read the Personal Pictures (Avatars) and Signatures thread in README section for more information.
