immortality, heal, ability to control matter, time, x-ray vision, flight, all kinds of psychic powers, super human strength, ability to copy things like sharingan, ability to steal people's knowledge, shape shifting and teleportation.

Well now just for personal enjoyment I suppose I would love the power of fire..Fire is a rather destructive force so it would be hard to save people with something that can only destroy so I guess I would just be on the evil side and save myself the stress

Why are so many people going for immortality?

If you do think about it more, it gets to be more of a curse. Living and seeing everyone around you die. Living to be thousands of years old but having to go trhough all the bad (and good) times. Is it really worth it?

It'd probably end either suicide, insanity untill suicide, or death by some war, or accident, if you could find a way to kill yourself.

There are no real good parts to immortality, wealth is just a passing notion.

It just sorta bugged me a litttle that people would choose a sugar-coated curse.

Simple... if you want to be all powerful in an anime, you just have to be an average boy, with plain looks, who's a little bit clumsy and often gets himself into situations that can be misinterpreted and look bad even though he's really good and wholesome at heart; which bestows upon the user the power to attract and be loved by countless women who are superhumanly powerful and will come to his rescue at any given moment, as long as you don't mind them sometimes punching you in the face at extremely comedic moments and sending you off into the stratosphere.

The simplified answer: You just need to be the main character in any given harem anime... that way you get 10 strong (sometimes superhuman) women with various powers to control.

I personally would go with the power to control water and Ice. It would also be more interesting if it were more erratic or was controlled by strong feelings just for giggles. It would be funny to see me trying to cope while hiding my powers so I don't become some labrat.

i would want the ability to control anything and everything.. its kinda like the book eragon and its sequal eldest but neither of these are anime soo unless u've read them u wouldn't understand what i'm really talking about.

and i want the ability to create any thing i wanted except people that would just be wrong

I would choose the power of time control. I would sleep in without worrying about school and just relax everyday. If i didn't do homework, i would have all the time in the world, literally.

i wish i can turn to seed mode like what a few character in Gundam SEED. then i will use my power to do things which is beyond my imagination (like what u see in anime) for good deeds secretly without anyone knows it was me who did it.
