I did like the comedy of fomuffu, but what I think that made the first season an awsome anime was the mixture of action with comedy, wich fomuffu lacks. I do hope they go back to that kind of formula, and even though I already know the story I really wish to see how it'll all turn out.
I never watched not one episode of fomuffu, but from what I read, it was real interesting. Can someone tell me(under spoilers text, obviously) a big difference between the seasons.
I don't know if this is a spoiler, but I guess I'll use one just to be safe.
Fumoffu has nothing to do with the original FMP plot. Anything about the lamda drivers, gauron, etc is completely not in fumoffu. Fumoffu is pure comedy, simple as that. Each episode is not related to any other, and its all about Sousuke's life as a student with Kaname. They go on different "adventures" as they try to train a queer rugby team into killing machines, as they explore the concept of love letters with sousuke continue to not understand, etc. Tessa also makes a reappearance, so that's always cool. Neways, don't expect anything from FMP plot besides just the same characters and sousuke being a complete dumbass about real life.

Actually, the stories in Fumoffu are part of the FMP world. They are just adaptations of the extra light-hearted events found in the novels which never made it into FMP the anime. Surely Sousuke and Chidori do other stuff than talking about lambda drivers and such all the time, right? That is what the light-hearted events were all about.
I actually meant just the FMP anime for what I wrote above. If you follow the manga, yea, the fumoffu stuff is in there. But since the guy was asking about the diff between the 1st and 2nd seasons, I included that.
I don't think you can find the manga, not anymore at least. I've never come across it myself, but of course the internet's a pretty big place and if you look hard enough and at some of the not so common sources, you'll probably find it. The only question is are you willing to waste a lot of time trying. I know I wouldn't. If I like the manga that much and was that desperate to get it, I'll spend some cash and buy the volumes.

Just to clarify things. The Full Metal Panic series all came from one source and that is the novels / story books with text in them.
From these books then came the animes and the manga.
Even now, all the material of the anime and manga come from the books. The books are still being released. The manga too, but slowly following the books ( since most of its material is adapted off the books ).
