| I agree with what you said. Even tho I don't like Naruto that much, I still consider it a decent Anime. It's actually worth watching, unlike some other real bad Animes. |

This is only true during the period in which the two main characters are working tword building their strength and validity as Ninja. You'll notice that really no one else is making "chakra balls" or anything like that and using techniques and general sneakiness as attacks. I feel this "strength" building segment can only go as far as brute strength gets someone in a fight. They will obviously have to come to rely on othe abilities and tactics.

Don't really know what your gripe is here. I have seen many more Anime that have no character developement or very little in comparison. They don't end up showing much developement in the case of Naruto later because you already know his story...kinda hard to have a history on someone who's barely a teenager. However they do a very good job covering other characters...leaving some a mystery and revealing others motivations and reasons for continuing. Showing them grow ect. Again...don't see your problem

Maybe if you paid some attention during those scenes you'll not usually during times of "action" or what not those are when the characters get a moment or two of introspection...would be kinda odd to have them find the enemies then stop and think to themselves about things. Also is when they generally reveal complications of what's going on. It happens...people gotta get somewhere and though "perhaps" (and i use that gingerly) some of the "tree hopping" scenes could be cut...you'll note a majority of them aren't pointless. Just because you have ADD doesn't make it a bad series.

If anyone out there feels they need to watch a fast moving anime, i recommend initial d, its out to 4th series now and it has manly stuff in it like cars, girls, a shallow plot, cars, pride and girls. |
Uh first...no one really knows what Sakura is supposed to be doing..but I think since she is starting to learn stuff from Tsunade then things might actually start to go somewhere.
Second...girls are hardly involved in Initial D. It's very shallow and while enjoyable um yeah girls still play a like 5th part role and not even 1st or 2nd. |

I didn't finish the full TV series mainly i dont know where to download or find them(and i have work  ) The greatest maybe, but i would like to find more anime and compare them. Surely Naruto has great and unique battles styles occuring in the story. I find it quite interesting at first new terms as chakra instead of chi and quite original terminologies but as i have said i didn't finish the TV version. IMO it has an ok story plot but i will not rate it as high as greatest. As i said 3 times i had to finish the series or manga to finally conclude. If the lord will be merciful enough to let me read all of them or find them, I might even change my rate... PEACE OUT! |

Sakura's role: forms love triangle between Naruto -> Sakura -> Sousuke, further adding conflict/competition between Naruto/Sousuke. Heck, every series needs -some- aspect of romance, 'else it'd be even more unrealistic.
Other than that, umm, not sure what else. *shrug* |

| Hmm I've watched up to ep 31 and I have to say so far so good. Hmm I'm wondering has Naruto been licensed yet? And from what I've seen about Sakura's role in the anime so far its usually just shouting "Sasuke-kun!" like all the time -_- |

Sakura will prove to be pretty much worthless unless you've read the latest manga scans.
I think Naruto anime series in general is inconsistent when it comes to quality to be the best of anything. But I do think Naruto has the best underdog character of all time.

| haha. i just started watching the anime after reading all the current manga out. the anime is not too bad but i like the manga overall better. plus downloading the anime is such a hassle through bt. |

| People that say Naturo is the best obviously don't watch enough anime. But at least that's better than watching no anime, anime-fans are uncommon in England, not enough ppl watching anime, only the asian ppl watching anime and most of them only watch Naruto. |
