lol, not everyone is same. some people like chocolate some dont. You can't make someone stop liking chocolate (what im trying to say is everyone has different taste). So why make such useless thread (no offence), how you should watch and how you should behave etc etc.

before some of you start naruto hater me: naruto is not my fav nor is the best anime in the world!

Agreed... Naruto is a pretty good series, and for all those people that claim it to be predictable... come on. The first few arcs of the story were really quite amazing and unpredictable, and even now in the manga, the storyline continues to surprise me. I just hate the fact that some people ONLY watch Naruto, and claim that all other anime suck. Compared to some anime out there, Naruto is merely mediocre. It's a pretty good gateway series, but I just want people to keep their minds open to other anime that are not as big a waste of time.

Basically, some Naruto watchers fit the phrase, "big fish small pond," quite well. To be stuck on one series, albeit a good one, is not a good idea. Obsession will lead to withdrawl when you begin to realize that the series is not that good, and withdrawl will lead to resentment, and resentment will lead to hate. Look at all the DBZ nerds.

It's just a phase everyone's going through, it'll die down eventually.

The same thing happpened with Dragonball Z, everyone loved it a few years ago and now it's just another lost anime.

I agree 100% to Kaiser's post in terms of Naruto' fans and hater, for me Naruto is one of my favorite although I agree that this anime can be quite slow sometimes. At least the anime follow the manga quite well, too well indeed that it can take until 200+ episodes to finish. I'm not Naruto fanatic (don't mind my user name Laughing

) and I'm not saying that Naruto deserved to be Top 1 anime, but it's my anime type and everybody has a different anime type, so mocking Naruto fans because they don't like anime is really a quite selfish things to do.

i only watched up to episode 83 but Naruto kicks so much ass. It is an awesome series. Although there is alot of talking, they more than make up for it in the crazy fight scenes. Go Naruto!

Naruto, I like naruto. I also think i hate naruto and kind of want all the time i spend watching back. Let me explain.
I seen it from 1 to current episode, it has many intersting fight twists that i like, although lately i predict what is going on to very high degree of accuracy.

I used to like it when the battles had tactics, but now they just seem dragonball-eske "lets see who can make a bigger explosion with their fireball".
The character development is there somewhere, i suspect using an earth jutsu to hide from us so we have to watch more closely.
My main wine is that it just takes too long form anything to happen, i seen them flying through the trees now, ocasionally landing on a tree (cause they can't fly, just so you know) but i don't want to see another 5 minutes of trees passing by, it is nice, but now i seen it. NO MORE PASSING TREE SCENES!

Also, sakura...what the hell is she doing? here role seems to be the damsel in distress, wow, she does that well. Hopefully we'll see some improvement there.

If anyone out there feels they need to watch a fast moving anime, i recommend initial d, its out to 4th series now and it has manly stuff in it like cars, girls, a shallow plot, cars, pride and girls.
