Hey guys, As you may have noticed, we have a brand new convention module out. I ask that all of you submit your reviews for any convention that you've attended. If you've attended the same convention a few years in a row, then you can write a review for each year. Just make sure each review is unique.[/url]

This is great. Its a little different but if it works out you guys will have a kick ass convention section. While not a cosplayer myself i am amused at the pics of them so i hope he attendees of conventions take some good ones.
um, i guess that Manifest (Melbourne ANIme FESTival) was good, it was the first time i had ever been to an anime convention and to be honest, i didnt hold high or low expectations, so i wasnt disapointed in any way. it was fun, but i was a worker there, so 98% of things was off limits to me...
that was the first time ive ever seen cosplayers, and i heard alot about them, to tell the truth, i was kinda expecting to see some freaky cosplayers that would put me off these conventions, but i am happy that there were almost little to no horrible cosplayers. phew.
it was fun, and i can see myself returning there next year.
Tried to post in there...but the Convention Forum wasn't keeping.
Anyhow, I was writing about the AnimExpo in Anaheim. Couldn't post it there...so just posting it here. Rated it 7-8ish. But...that's just my opinion.
I've attended this one the last couple of years. I don't really have a base for comparison...but it was pretty nice in my opinion. If you ever goto these, it's highly advisable to order your Passes Online unless you want to wait an eternity in line, especially this particular Expo.
This last one '05 was good. What was especially cool was that I was able to attend a Panel with some of the old voice characters for Robotech. That was a treat. Met Roy Fokker and Minmei. Also, got a chance to attend a Live Yellow Dancer (Lancer) concert. Quite entertaining.
The only thing that really bugged me was that...sometimes they changed what was on the menu for screenings. That was very annoying. I mean, you take the time schedule what you want to watch...only to find out that they aren't showing what you expected. No explaination...nothing. Annoying.
