I thought the animation was especially good during the action sequences. But it doesn't work well to show the characters' expression though.

yea the whole thing just reminded me of video games....especially when they were talking..it was hard for me to watch..i was like ouch, this hurts my love for anime!..lol. i dunno..the whole storyline didn't really appeal to me either. i think i would rather watch a badly drawn anime series or movie than appleseed. but yea..maybe they should've just left it as a manga.

Bleh i heard from my friend that in the manga it showed her tits like every 5 minutes so i never read the manga. The CG on clone-ish chick freaked me out her face was too weird. I didnt think the movie was that bad, but then again i am not the guy that is super judgemental on anime and manga

It was good. But as a Shirow buff, I have to say I was unhappy with the major changes they made in the movie for time. I really hope the new show hits home. Prehaps with the anime, Shirow can FINISH the story he left in the manga.

Apple Seed was pretty cool. All they need is a real story and some real bad guy and a real heroine. Also the graphics were cool, but it loks like that CGI Spiderman cartoon.
