Hiya, i just saw this Anime movie and DAM it rules, did anyone else like it to?

and dam the animation is good, i dont think there are a better anime movie with a better animation Smile

Whatdo you think?

why not? i think they were good, the only thing i didnt like was that the characters and the backgrounds clashed to much in animating

it took a while for me to get used to the faces.. and u mean appleseed 2004 rite?? o yea a new appleseed series is coming in 2006 =D

yea i mean the 04 movie, a series or movie? thats cool Very Happy

I thought that the CG used was pretty neat. It still kept that cell animation feel to it, and it didn't look like sloppy like so many other CG anime scenes. I still prefer traditional animation though.

Appleseed i watched the earlier version, 95 version *i think*. Oh yeah my friend told me that the 2006 Appleseed will be directed by John Woo?? izzit true guys??

the movie was ok...i h8ed the animation/ graphics..i prefer regular drawing. Probably the only thing that i liked about the anime was the fight scene in the beginning.

I really disliked how the whole movie TRIED to be sappy. And was it just me or did the main girl character look like a boy @ 1st?!! When i saw the cover of the dvd i was like it's a guy...but he looks as if he has some girl characteristcs whose in love with a robot. But my friend assured me that it was a guy, until we saw the movie!! i give it probably 4/10 and i really do feel as if i'm giving it too much credit.

hah what would an anime about apple trees be like, I wonder. Thanks for the info llhtom, maybe i'll take a look into it. Sounds interesting.

the movie was ok i didn't like the graphics they kinda sucked the plot was bad fighting was ok have seen better over all 3/10 pretty much the movie sucked

It is a manga by the same mangaka as Ghost in the shell and tank police, It takes place in Athens in the mid 21th century. It has a simuliar theme as ghost in the shell only the main charater is human. I liked the 1995 adaption. Might watch this one.
