| does anyone know where i can find translated chapter 74 of Negima? Stoptazmo seems to have skipped it and now i cant find it anywhere, anyone can help me out? prefer direct download i dont use bittorent so thanks and reply soon. |

well that's obvious since Naruto is a popular manga and most people that translate manga do it out of their free time so you shouldnt be inpacitent since they have lives as well.i read they are preparing to release the next volume after they finish proofreading and doing the final touches |

Less perverted? Umm... the only way I can see that applying is because the male lead this time isn't some horny pervert of a guy - an English gentleman ^^ There's plenty of naked flesh and my friend has a problem that it's 14/15 year old naked flesh. Now that he has Weird Magic on top of Weird Tech (AI Love You + Love Hina) and Weird Ki/Martial Arts (Love Hina) to play around with, I'd say this is more perverted than Love Hina (AI Love You still beats both though).
Heck, Negima has some scenes where it's very obvious that Akamatsu has a "no explict parts will be drawn" policy unlike in Love Hina. Just that, as there's more action/battles going on Negima, it's easier to ignore the fanservice. |

Actually, despite his English exterior, there are some point where you wonder. For instance, that disarming spell he uses when he's sneezing, numerous times he used it like when he was embarassed or confused, like with Chiu he did it because he was too close to her and smelled her perfume.
StopTazmo does have more of Negima than my favorite site though so I'm happy with it. |

Ah that moment eh? I don't consider that conclusive evidence, as we have no proof that he did that while conscious. Asuna has awful sleeping habits (see the very beginning of Vol 1 Chapter 2 - pages 74,75 in the tankubon) and Negi likely has developed habits of his own after sleeping with his sister as part of his previous daily life (and I just know some people will take that in a way I'm not meaning).
This is Akamatsu we're talking about. Impossible fanservice happens in his works. Best example I can think of would be the 'bondage magic rope arts' (and Kanako's not even involved in it) in Vol 10:
how can Naru struggling to get down from a tree while tied to a safety rope result in Keitaro having his head tied to her crotch?
Or the Diet special chapter of AI Love You:
We do not ask how Saati and Hitoshi cannot tell the difference between a key and... both pieces of Saati's bikini or Hitoshi's 'organic, temporarily-hard thing'. We just don't ask.
Thus, with the Akamatsu factor involved, I don't put it past him to have a Gentleman have (it only needs to be minor) cuddling sleeping habits on top of Asuna's.

Mind you - the concept of "British Gentleman" is now merely a stereotype. I live in the UK so I know so. You can argue that there may be a trend when compared to other countries/cultures, but as always, there's plenty of individual variety. |
