Just curious.

Actually, if you can't tell, I'm kind of branching off of another topic, except that one is about the worst manga to anime. Laughing

For me, I think the anime will generally be good if it follows the manga, especially if the manga itself is great. Kenshin was pretty disappointing because after the Kyoto Arc, everything became weird. It would have been better if they should have left in the Revenge Arc, although the OVA covered about half of that.

Anyway, what makes a good anime?

Characters?
Storyline? (And faithfulness to the story?)

I think if they let the manga get a decent number of volumes out. That way there's less filler. Something similar to Bleach, moves at a good pace and the filler they do have is very entertaining.

I say it would be the art then sound track, but not all anime have good artstle, for example One Piece and it was still good. But it's all about the plot and how they make their characters, the plot has to be interesting and characters got to have their own style or personality.

I basically want the plot to be similar...Most anime seems to move at a faster pace than the manga so it creates its own ideas and whatnot for the rest. Also, art and voiceovers have to be awesome. I hate it when they do a terrible job with the voices Razz
