ep.31 was great...too bad it will be the last keep/anbu episode since FMA finally got licensed after a very long rumor: http://v2.animesuki.com/licensed.php
Just when it started getting into the good stuff too...but hey it's okay even though there will be others, I'm probably going to buy these DVD's since this series is really great. |

Well, for me the license it's not really ok. I don't have access to the anime channel where it is said the series will be showed and God knows when it will be released on DVD and at what pace. Worst of all I was downloading the 31st episode and was cut on half from two fan-sub from where I was trying to get it. So what now?
I'm new around here, so Hi everybody.
And do you know who will print the manga in English? |

I have no idea how in the world they'd air this show on Cartoon Network... It'll be even more butchered than Gundam Seed considering how much more disturbing some of the things in this anime are... But whatever.
Anyway, there'll be people subbing it... Just not ANBU/Keep... |

First off, welcome. I just d/l ep 31 off A-Keep today and I didn't run into any problem. They probaby close down all BT links. You might want to try going through IRC. Anyway I think Seichi-Fansubs will continue subbing FMA. |

Hi. First of all thanks for your attention.
I followed the suggestion and tried obtaining the FMA 31 through IRC but no luck. Thanks a lot anyway.
About the show being aired in the Cartoon Network, I thought it was going to be aired in the US Anime Channel. I don't really see that show being aired in the Cartoon Network. It isn't at all their "style". But for me it would be somewhat great: we do have that channel here in Europe. |

Yup, the announcement at E3 is that it'll air on Cartoon Network. I am not sure what "style" you're talking about though, because CN has been airing all kinds on anime on Toonami and Adult Swim (except for ecchi ones) |

lol! Funny.
I think Casslin should be romanized as Catherine though... (at least that's how it usually is)
Anyway, looks like this show is sweeping through the anime fans in Japan: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/article.php?id=4971 (with Gundam SEED closely behind) |

For ye American viewers, seems like Funimation put up trailers already.
http://www.fullmetalalchemist.com/splash.htm
Doesn't seem as bad as the "comments" make it out to be...
Kid Alphonse sounds ok.
Blood, fights, ressurrection, death, etc
(Maybe they'll snip out the little bits of gory parts, i.e. bleeding stumps)
And yes it is to be shown on Cartoon Network. |

Well crap.
I just got my June issue of Newtype. Spoilers all over the place... Of course half of it was stuff I'd known from reading the manga... Oh well...
And is it just me (No this isn't a spoiler from Newtype, this is jsut me being curious...) or does that lady that is working the desk for Bradly (And turns up in this last ep. as well...) look an awful lot like Ed and Al's Mom or am I just crazy?
Happy Mom...
Pissed off about too much deskwork?
Though I guess the hair styles are a LITTLE different... Oh well. |
They not only LOOK the same... They have the same seiyuu (Yoshino Takamori) too. |

But that could just be one of those "save a buck or two here or there..." things... ^^; But I'd also like to think that the whole thing comes back to tie into their failed resurrection attempt as well... Maybe? Just going to have to see I guess.
Anyway 32 has come and gone. Not only do they do a good job of keeping you in suspense before the episode started but they also managed to re-do a little bit of what went on last ep. before you even get to the OP theme for mose suspense. Then there was the whole eye-catch thing too... and don't even get me started on ending.
Things look to be turning back to the manga for now but so far it still feels handled pretty well. (so far better than the island recap part.. ugh this shows one black eye...) We also get to see a framiliar face (Go back to ep. 9 for a refresher...) I will have to wait till next episod eto see how it all turns out but it seems like they will work around some of the plot holes they seemed to be digging.
The whole episode was really tense. there was a lot of stuff going on with not just Ed and Al tachi but Mustang as well. That half hour really flew by this time. Even with scary Herbal Essence shampoo commercials in them. (Lucky for you guys you don't have to put up with that stuff...)
Oh, and Darkhunger... Saw this in Newtype and thought of you. ^_^
It is Megumi Toyoguchi, (I hope that is the correct translation...) Winry's voice actor... Why is she so upset you ask???
Because Riza Hawkeye is still beating her in the popularity polls. ^_^
Just a little joke they threw in there but I thought it was pretty funny. |

| None of the more prominent English fansub groups are going to sub it to avoid lawsuits. |
