Thought it'll be interesting to see what animes ppl considers really violent
1. Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman
- U have children, demons, guys and women being mutilated, torn, eaten, ripped, smashed
2. Berserk
- Killing 100 soldiers within 10mins of show and those last eps, nuff said. Oh, and buttf$#k too....
3. Shin Getter Robo OVA
- Face ripped, eye popping, head chopping + smashing, limbs cutting....
4. Ninja Scroll
- Lots of wounds by the samurai sword..... |

I was reading this topic and I thought i knew what i was going to post. But reading your nominations I have to reconsider what is gory/violent.. hehe
I haven't seen it myself but I hear Fist of the Northstar is pretty bad in violence. _________________

Whoa good thing you said that kai cause I woulda left it out... Fist of the North star for sure... he touches/punches people and they explode... not fast either! They make it look uber painful by having the guys head/body expand then bam he just explodes brains/bones/blood flying everywhere... and of course ninja scroll is one of them too...MPD Psycho had some violent moments... one that I remember off the top of my head is one MPD kills someone by crushing his head with his hand.. it was pretty neat I know I've seen more but I can't remember :'( _________________ Urgo... living in Vancouver now go Calgary Flames! |

Fist of north star, yea I heard a lot about it, but it's abit dated, perhaps will one day check it out. I know the new ova is out but can't get it anywhere in bit-torrent/ dl since it's been licensed.
Interestingly, I recalled some of my first few animes were actually, really violent, I saw Akira, Ninja Scroll, The guyver at 14 years old, and I was like wtf!!! This is cartoon dude! Ahaha, that ninja scroll rape scene was such a shocker, it's forever carved in my head..... |

| Has anyone seen apocalypse zero? Apparently that whole show's purpose is to disgust the viewer with the most gory and violent scenes known in anime making...... |

Fullmetal Alchemist
Naruto
- Simple, this's just to intense
Inu Yasha
I'd like to say Wolf's Rain. But the anime also has a bit of lightheartedness as well ^_^. So I'd have to go with Outlaw Star |

Yeah, what's with that? those animes are HARDLY violent.... you need to extend your repertoire methinks if those are the best you can come up with Zeta... _________________ You can't hold no groove if you ain't got no pocket. |

Umm lets see, Berserk... Berserk.... oh and Berserk.
Heh, ok I'll make a real list:
Berserk, Escaflowne the movie, Spriggan and Ninja Scroll TV.
That's right folks I said the TV series and not the movie, why? Well because the TV series had about 98% violence 1% story and 1% walking. |

Hmmm.. Berserk had a lot of blood and gore from what I saw in 7-8 episodes.
Spriggan was just an excuse for a bloodblath. Red everywhere.
I'd say Kenshin 1st OAV is pretty bloody as well... you see swords going through people and lots of blood... I didn't find it bad at all but when I come to think about it... it had quite a bit of gore. _________________
