Elfen Lied, of course, the BEST and most violent anime out there. I'm surprised that not many people mentioned Gantz! I consider that to be really bloody and violent! hehe, it gave my friend a headache after I showed her the first two chapters.

| I know it's not the most violent anime out there, but Ayashi no Ceres does have a fairly large amount of blood for being a shoujo anime. |

| havent watched it but i think lord of the overfiends, ichi the killer anime,hmmmm dont know any others really. ichi the killer is a must see for gore fans and it actually has a good plot too |

yea, Akira was pretty violent...but i didnt think Ninja Scroll was all that violent....hmm mebbe i saw the subbed version i dont remember  |
