Anime violence is what really turned me on to anime (Ninja Scroll). Lately I'd have to agree Berserk had some excellent violence, same with Gantz. Both are kickass shows too.

I'd hafta say Elfen Lied, Ninja Scroll, Escaflowne the movie, and Kenshin were the most violent I've ever watched.

o_O hmm..i would say Gantz is pretty violent...but...has anyone seen kiseijuu hahha even though that manga is complete fiction..but so freaken nuts..o_O lol...lotsa alien slaughter, head chopped, body bursts, and other stuff too, err...not a bad plot but it would be nice to see the anime than the manga..
