Shingo form girl saurus.. has got the all the chicks after him but he cant accept it.. damn gynphobia.. wat i would give to be in his position..he gets into physical situations that on ppl can dream of.. poor guy

I guess like most of you had said, Gaara. Poor kid.... from young, he was an outcast and treated like a monster.... even his father wanted him dead and that's totally messed-up!! Even losing the one person he cared for (forgot the name, but it was the ninja looking after him) by defending himself.... very very bad ~_~

Next would be the kids from Evangelion.... imagine 14 year olds having to go through so much stress because of the burden of protecting earth from Angels (which they are far from) and also other stuff. Shinji I think is the most tormented though.....

Finally, the kids from Gundam Seed Destiny.... that entire world is totally flipped upside down, in and out, left and right.... everybody is dying and all their families, friends, homes and everything of importance are being destroyed.....

i feel sorry for that guy from Love Hina (forgot his name) he always gets bashed for EVERYTHING....i got so tired of watching the anime/manga.

I think that Masaru Katou from Gantz. He is very very RARE, doesn't have real friends aside of Kurono and Kishimoto and beacuse of his stupidity he always ruins the moment ("You must shoot, Katou!!!", do you remember that phrase).

again, i agree with the others that i feel sorry for shingo from girl saurus. to go through a traumatic experience like that, be put in hospital for 2 months, have an incredible fear of women despite having the best ones after him, to even have his own little sister after him....
that's what i was sometimes thinking when i read that. poor guy. and lucky bastard.

I'd have to say Kei-Kurono from Gantz. He's such a messed up kid, trying to be cynical about the world and always discrediting his own feelings until its too late, never saying the right things, watching friend after friend die just as he learns to appreciate them, the sheer volume of abuse he gives those closest to him and the obvious torment this gives him, the bullying he gets at school (attempted anyway), the loser friends that he hates but still hangs around with, the futility of his situation, the fact that he never gets recognition from those that he needs it from the most...

He's such an angsty, horny little bastard that you can't help but love him, despite all his shortcomings. A very realistic and understandable character, I know I for one feel like I can understand and relate to him.

Guts from Berserk, he might be totally powerful but the only true happiness he ever seems to get is when he is fighting for his life. Any other time things start to go good for him some demon shows up or some other terrible thing happens.
