| Nah, I really don't go by fanbase, because....well, I really don't know what fan base there are for what. I just go for what looks good. I flip through the pages and if the drawing quality is good and the story is interesting, I get it. I know I shouldn't go with looks but hey, it has to keep me entertain! |

anime is usually cut apart and dubbed over so it has nothing good in it. I am really no looking forward to the naruto series coming to Cartoon Network. The manga is amazing, cussing, blood, and the whole package that I buy my mangas for. Mangas are just a step above anime in my oppinion _________________

plus the file is smaller so its easy to take them wherever u go
its like a compromise between a book and a movie _________________ _________________

| well, I don't decide on manga based solely on fanservice, but I will admit that fanservice is a factor. |

Rather curious statement. how much anime and what type to do you watch? about the only stuff that is "cut apart and dubbed over" is the commercially licensed stuff that is put on cable/Sat. and most of the other anime, even the stuff that is licensed still has the same plots and storylines that the mangas have minus a very short story or an omake taken out due to budget issues.
look at anime like Cowboy Bebop, GIS:SAC, PlanetES, and Air Master. They are excellent anime with quality stories and memorble characters. hardly cookie cutteresqe episdoe quality ala DBZ that you were complaing about.
P.S.try being a little bit more specific when you _________________ -Antismurf
