It´s supposed to be release during 2006.... but for those who owns a PS2 better as much later: think that the date of the born of PS3 is also the date of the begining of the PS2´s dead. It´s logical (has happen with all the consoles few later of the generation change). Sony seems to guarantee a minimum life of five years to the consoles, and xbox should make the same and it doesnt: Xbox was release after PS2 and Xbox 360 will be release before PS3... thats not good: less time, less games...

I still haven't enough enjoying my PS2 and now the PS3 is going to be released soon......

I am tired of the consoles being released so fast. If I really want to enjoy it means I have to buy it as soon as it comes available. Sure I like the new graphics, but they can still accomplish great things with the consoles now. As soon as word gets out that a new console is coming out, game companies start making games for the next console. It's making it where the really amazing games begin to come out in the beggining then the quality steadly declines as the next system as rumored about. Not to mention that the upcoming consoles are more like computers, that means that they can make newer ones faster since computers get new graphics cards and tremendous improvements every year, so we will be buying systems much sooner, dropping the life of the console already... Crying or Very sad

But whatever im still going to buy them all Very Happy

The PS3 design looks so slick though, but that controller sure looks like a boomerang...It says that it was planned to be launched in mid 2006. Does anyone of any games that were planned to be on the launch line-up?

, by the way if u do that...u gonna missed a hell lot of games coming out on ps3 if u kept on enjoying ps2. Same history repeat as for like ps and ps2.
