Well, if you asked if I understood more than one language, I would've said 4, English, Spanish, French, and enough of Japanese(around here, people would scratch their head if I said "konichiwa". But I can't read or write in anoy of the languages but English, so sorry.

i can only read and write 2 (portuguese and english) but i can understand 4 (portuguese, english, spanish and french (although i hate it))

I can more or less write 4. French, English, Spanish are okay. Japanese, I know a little. Otherwise I can understand french, english, spanish, italian, a bit of japanese, a bit of vietnamese and a few word in german... (thanks to history courses Laughing

My primary language is English, learned German in school for 4 years and pretty good at it, and pretty good with Chinese. But even though I usually speak English my first language was Spanish...

Actually I'm familliar with only 2 languages; english and my own language.
But ask me about our dialects: I know 8 lols

Same as GrimReaper1. I can speak and wright Portuguese and English, and i can understand Spanish and a bit of French as well as the minimal Japanese that i can remember.

I speak French, English, Spanish and Japanese... The next one on my list would be either German or Russian even though I might need a bit more of practice in spanish to say I could properly speak a fluent conversation.

But I can read and write all of them Razz

Even though some kanjis in japanese still gives me a headache...

Well for my part I would prefer learning one as far as it can be from French, and maybe thats why I didnt bother practicing spanish that much since I find those 2 too alike... by the latin roots I mean of course...
