Chobits is one of the few series in which the anime is better than the manga, but to be honest they are both excellent.

All 8 volumes of the manga took near forever to get...but finally got them all and what a read! Chobits is a nice story and stuff from Clamp is always good.

The anime is pretty good as well, but the manga...still way better if only for collecting purposes. Cool

personally, i liked the manga and hated the anime. i read the manga first and loved it, then i bought the anime and hated it, mainly because chi is more of a retard in the anime and her voice annoys me, even in japanese.

I've read the first volume of the manga...and I've seen(I think) about 4 episodes of the anime. And I prefer the manga. ^_^

I haven't seen the anime yet, but I've read up to vol. 7 of the manga, so I guess I perfer the manga.
