Sad event in your favo anime

in Naruto.. when Naruto was ` scolding ' Zabuza... and Zabuza told the former to zip in.. in tears.. i thought tt was touching..

the ending of Grave of Fireflies, where both the brother and sister dies, was the saddest part of any anime I've ever saw. Depresses me every time I think of it.

Not my favourite series, but there's a scene in the show Kurau, which stirred in me genuinely sadness. Most people will find it very strange because Kurau had a happy and good ending.

Its the last episode in one of the final scenes where, Christmas was sitting in alone in her nightgown on a grassy hill, staring at the night sky with fireflies flitting around her, and then she eventually floats up to the night sky. (nothing awful happened to christmas)

I remember, I felt so sad after I watched it, I just couldn't shed any tears,I didn't even felt something like that even when I encounter deaths around me and then it drew onto me that its the kind of sadness that one has no language or symbolism to describe, but is just understood because I had internalize the feeling as the truth.

Cowboy Bebop Ending

When Spike died at the end. I was like WTF no way the main character just died. I was really shocked and sad when that happened. I was in denial that he died since im not use to seeing something like that happen. In a way im kinda glad he died cause it stood out from a lot of animes with what usually happens with the main character. I like how they portrayed not everyone is not perfect and it can happen to any of us.

Saddest part of my favorite anime, Gankutsuou, was when *SPOILERRR* France Dies and wishes Albert a Happy Birthday just before he gave his last breath. MY GOD THAT HAD ME IN TEARS FOREVER. T_T

The end of the Haku/Zabuza arc in Naruto was pretty sad. The end of grave of fireflies was pretty depresesinga s well.

in naruto with haku and zabuza, naruto growing up alone, in AIR TV at the ending and there were some in ai yori aoshi.

at the end of samurai x reflections

it was so beautiful with kenshin to tired to even sit up, and kaoru talking about the party she was going to throw. and kenshin is smiling, then e dies.
kaoru looks down and sees that hes pas, but that the scar tomoe left is gone, sort of showing that even though he was away from her for so long, he only cared about her until the end, and that he died happily.

although we dont know this for sure, i think it is ok to assume kaoru dies in peace soon after that.

If it's only about my favoriteAnime I would say....the end of it!!!! Why did it end so soon???? No, but really, the end is sad, when Yakumo gets beat up realy bad and Pai takes his place to face her fate, a very romantic kiss goodbye..... Embarassed

@ the end of wolf's rain when all the hell the characters went through was basically all for nothing. they never reached paradise...and when kiba and cheza spent their final moments together..it was a teary moment for me Sad

when haku died i think was the saddest part in naruto, it was soooooo sad... Crying or Very sad

and naruto's lonly life was also sad....but haku's death must of been one of the saddest moments in anime history. the song fit the moment exactly too.

elfen lied: when the kids beat that dog to death! that is the most sadistic animal death I have ever seen! I was bawling that whole episode! how could -kids- be so cruel?! also Lucy at the very end!

gantz: katou!!! i can't believe he had to die!! he was one of my favorite guys! also kurono's gf (what was her name? the lara croft one...) i mean wtf? pretty much - no, really - everyone died except for kurono in the buddha (sp?) saga. at least that happened in the manga...

naruto: HAKU!!! it was so noble, too sad!!
