nya is like saying meow ....... the sound a cat makes ................. it`s quite funny, animals all over the world "speak" more or less the same, but people have very very different words for their sounds
Have no clue about ku though .................. maybe it really could be a chicken? but it`s supposed to a an evil laugh, so its an evil laughing space chicken

this thread is not useless, The "Ku ku ku" is getting very popular now there are many anime's that use this horrific laughter in their series. If you think about it where did this type of laughter originate? was it origanly in a anime or was it in a manga? who would even think up such a laugh when it not a very common characteristic of the human laugh? If you ask yourself these types of questions then you might find yourself looking at this "useless" thread in new light.
