I use Mplayer - Movie Player for Linux, on windows and it works fine. I had problems with a lot of players and the codecs, having bad images or the video would slow down after a few minutes.
I don't remember who told me about Mplayer, but it was on these forums. Anyway, thanks a lot |

| I use the Mplayer classic project from source forge since it has some upgrades from wmp classic and takes abit less space and cpu/ram power from your comp to run. wmp 9 is prolly the worst player ever it drains way to much resources for me >< .. |

| Well I've always used Windows Media Player since I never got tired of using it.. and it doesn't use that much of your system resources and has good qualities at most times. Only thing I don't like is that anything in WMA format are so freaken annoying to get to work on other OS's. >_< |

curious.. wma is one of the few codecs that works straight out of the box for me on FC1. mov and ram files need a bit of work, though _________________ David |

| My favorite media player used to be bsplayer but now I'm using The Core Media Player for all my anime viewing. It was originally just for .ogms and .mkvs but it evolved. I've tried a couple of other players and so far tcmp has worked the best. |

bsplayer hasn't dissapointed me much so i stick with it and sometimes i use media player clasic but not recently, for some reason i really dislike the new windows media player I probably did not use it more than 10 times since i have this computer (about 2 years or longer) _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

I'll have to say DivX player forallmy anime fun time. I used to use WMP extensively until i started getting these funny errors while watching Gantz about the divx codec being messed. Somehow i had to get my gantz working so i remembered i had this thing installed. Tried it, kept it, love it. Im using WMP for music until i decide to dl winamp again. _________________ [IMG:508:164:6c8e3c695e]http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p252/inqArk/Original_sig.jpg[/img:6c8e3c695e] |

| Most of the time I use WMP (the latest) and just load on the new codecs and problems solved. So far I only have problems when the download is corrupt. |

Found where to get the windows version of Mplayer. Here
Nothing to install, just use the "Open with" and choose Mplayer.exe |

I use windows media player classic mostly, though when I have a .cue file or something like that, I watch it in Powerdvd, and for the music, winamp5 _________________
