i think inu is overrated. i mean fillers is fine but its the matter of how to put in the story wit the fillers and how intriguing and good they r. like cowboy bebop, id say almost eveyrhing was a filler. but it still kicks ass |

There is no thing special to be say about the storyline nor character... The drawing isn't that great. Some jokes can be quite original, but I can guess most of the storyline since from the first chapter... It isn't that bad and can be quite enjoyable to read in your free times. it is a fix of alotof stuff. i realli like this manga but i dotn htink its the best in the world. but i can c how ppl say it since its great in plot and how the author drags it out but still in a interesting way wit all the characters and the small buildup wit each character. i like hte way it resolves around the main charcter but in so many ways and expiernces they have wit eachother. but i like the best how i can picture the characters as if they were real. the same wit gantz and some other mangas you get connected wit the characters and understand but still do not know what will happen |

sorry love hina fans but I think that manga is really boring I liked the beginning and it was often funny but later around Volume 4 I got really sleepy...
some CLAMP series are good but I think too that they are overrated! |

Definitely Ichigo 100%. Way overrated. I have seen many MANY threads in relation to this and each time I see one I ask myself "why" why? There's a pathetic main character who is apparently loved by every pretty girl there is. The ecchi situations are just ridiculous. I don't know or see how that appeals to anyone, and things really REALLY drag on. Not much of a story here, just a whole pile of hormones flying around.

ichigo 100% it was good, but the way people talk about it you think it be some kind of freakn odsend
tokyo mew mew- my 9 year olod sister and her friends kind of ruined that one for me
fullmetal alchemist-i just wasnt impressed, i thougt the anime was better

Have you ever thought that Ichigo 100% has so many threads because... It's probably been on this site from the beginning? Travelling from the first chapter to the last one released, with pauses in between like the current Volume that's been waited on... You can see how people would speculate constantly to fill the gap in time. But anyway...
Saying the words "Overrated" is way to easy... Plus, it'll only hit upon the more popular manga's. So it's basically, "The manga you don't enjoy that everyone else can't stop talking about!" post. The only manga I've read that I don't really like that much is Mai-Hime on this site. I know it hasn't been going on long... But I find myself confused on what the hell is going on most of the time. Alot of random stuff just happens, and then suddenly the threat is gone. Maybe it's because it's a manga and you can't see everything that's intended... But even so, characters make really quick turns in personallity and such. Normally to make up on the lack of action, they use words to try to convey more of the story. But everynow and then you just get pages of flashes and bangs that leave me with the "WTF!?" face. It's weird to me, but so far only to me I'd guess.
Let's remember this is the Manga General board... So throw out all of your opinions on the Anime, and throw in you're opinions of the manga... If you've readed that is. I only say that because I'm sure there's a "Most Overrated Anime" thread on the Anime General boards. Guess that's about all I had to say... I think it is. Oh well. |

inu yasha was overrated... I don't say it's bad, but just overrated. As people already said, it's too long. It's just turning around the plot. Chasing Naraku, he fled, fight demons, chasind Naraku, he fled, chasing demons again... ah! a shikon shard...  It's not very original, it's not very very very bad.
Another manga that is overrated is love hina too. Repetitive, funny, but repetitive. But I kinda like the manga, but not too much. I mean... all the girls first hate Keitaro, but in the end they all love him even though he's a real loser!... anyway... someone told me it was all the fantasm of the author, and I tend to think he's right 
There's also ayashi no ceres. It's not bad, but it's kinda strange. Aya just met Touya, and already they love together and sleep together and stuff... guh, I mean, you don't jump in the arm of someone you don't know! But otherwise, it's kinda funny and it can be good at time and you enjoy reading it. Same for Fushigi Yuugi. |

Overrated? Overrated...overrated....hmm...Three words come to mind: DragonballZ, Inu-Yasha (I got to volume ten, saw that the anime was farther, but then turned it off because it got repetitive) and Eva (reminded me of my hate for Gundum).
Sorry to the people who like those, but hey, that's my opinion. |
