overrated manga

Love Hina comes to mind. (don't hate me for saying this Wink

) It's quite funny and amusing at the beginning especially when they tried to get into Tokyo U. But the humour seems repetitive to me throughout 14 volumes.

but i <3 Luv hina manga... the manga is quite different from the TV series but i like themanga > series...

Overrated mangas.. definitely the CLAMP ones. Sorry CLAMP fans, this is just my opinion. But all I gotta say is.. they only produce nice drawings, sketches and graphics stuff but hell the story is not something that should draw so many people attentions. I was quite surpise how can there be SO many CLAMP fans.

Well.. don't get me wrong I read most of CLAMP mangas: Magic Knight Rayearth, X, Chobits, CLAMP Detective School, Cardcaptor Sakura etc. But I don't have any favourite ones or I would say the storyline are not super good either.

The only one I would say is not bad is X though.

The Evangelion manga is not done so I suspect that with the endings of both the movie and television series (trippy shit) we should have a lot to intrepret once the manga is done.

Is Shinji going to realize that he controls his view on the world? That ultimately, he has choices that have lead him to isolation and understanding of humanity? I believe that Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is a very intelligent artist who has a great understanding of psychology and science - as he has mentioned why LCL works and how the Eva units and their pilots should connect at all, explained during his little rant at the end of the manga.

Love Hina may also be better than the television series. I haven't read too much of it, but it is not a manga I would look forward to buying.

Overrated mangas... Inu Yasha comes to mind in HUGE BOLD LETTERS!!! The beginning was intriguing, the characters amusing, but the story just drags on and on and on and on... etc. So many people seem to love it so much, but seriously, the plot is only repeating itself with different characters.... -_-"

Oh yes. I've flipped through quite a few volumes of the manga,and it seems to be nothing special. I have nothing against Inu fans...I just think its WAYWAY too overrated.

i will got to say bleach =_= ... only the fightings r good, but wut else? there is nearly no character dev (ichigo had been like that since the beginning of the story), there is no story or plot (the latest ones seemed to be just something to make the story longer)

I know many of you won't like my choice, but this is just my opinion...

ICHIGO 100%...

There is no thing special to be say about the storyline nor character... The drawing isn't that great. Some jokes can be quite original, but I can guess most of the storyline since from the first chapter... It isn't that bad and can be quite enjoyable to read in your free times. But many many people say as if it is one of the best manga ever written in the world and I don't think so...
