gc becomes the fourth non CG winner in our contest. Since our contest is dominated by CG works, it's rare to see a great hand worked piece. Congratulations gc, we hope to see more great work from you!

Nice clean lines and a good concept. Although the shoulder joints seem pretty weird that low on the body... or was that an intentional design?

I think it's pretty damn good. The Concept is original(as far as i know), the shades are in the right places, and the anatomy is done fairly well. can't comment much on it since the details are really small and the armor is really complex. I'ld have to say that i disagree with yeb on the shoulder joints. Since the armor is pretty much covering it, you can't see where the shoulder connects to the upper torso. I think it looks more like the character is tilted downward. Anyway, good job and congrats. Have u thought of coloring it>??

its nice to see a good hand drawn pic for once, but yep is right. if you look at the the drawing carefully the shoulder is either attached to the ribs or it has an extremely long neck. and in referance to zo's comment it can't be tilted forward because the head is to high above the body. other than that i commend you on a job well done.

not really, it could b a very thin body... and the thing sticking out on the right arm are fethers... if u look closely ull see it on the left arm too! anywayz great work! looks like some ppl from digimon =P looks amazing^^

Hmm? O.oa Could it human or robot or half robot and half human. I never seen that art before.

The body is probably too thin, but if it is really robot then it's fit. Shoulder seem more longer than then arm but, it's all fine. Feet... O.O|| One is larger than other feet, but oh well, just worth to finish it.

Overall are exellent. Don't worry, don't feel bad, you will draw much better than this. I bet!
