| The animation is really amazing. The story so far can head in many directions, which makes it exciting to see where it heads. |

| The art and animation are very impressive. But the story still needs to be explained. There are also alot of girls introduced yet just one guy. If this is similar to Kanon, I don't think I'm going to follow it. I can't relate to the characters just yet, but the colour and character design sure are extraordinary, very likable. |

I finally watched episodes 1 and 2. Like everyone has said, this series has outstanding animation. The characters have been slightly introduced so far but nothing really heavy yet until we go into episode 3 it looks like.
Of course there is something different about this town and the inhabitants and I think it will only concentrate on the guy and the people (girls) he meets.
I do think it will end up something like Kanon. Kanon was normal until the middle were it turned all magical and turned off quite a few people because of that. Air seems to focus on the magical part already, it looks interesting and I enjoyed Kanon so I'll be definitely keeping my eye on this. |

i liked it so far and the animation is smooth and clean and the story line is unfolding itself nicely
i see nobody has commented on the weirdness of the show....
1)Ga.. Gao (huh)
2)Lets Drink Sake Together! (no comment)
3)Piko Piko (a dog?)
4)The Ribbon on my wrist is a secret! (stigmata)
5)My mom used to do this too (Is that why she's dead?)
6)I'm pedo bear bait (the butt shaker)
7)I'm smart but i blow bubbles in the evening (????) |

From what I gather....there is zero difference between Air TV (By SS) and Air (Lunar). Just that SS wanted to make it clear that they are subbing Air the TV version, cos apparently there's gonna be a movie version of Air as well...
[EDIT] Oh btw, can somenbody tell me which group does the best quality translation? cos I see there are many groups doing Air and I've been comparing subs from Static and Lunar and don't know which is better, can anybody recommend? |

I agree. Lunar does high quality subs.
I'm glad they knocked down the resolution for the second episode. The first didn't seem to like my media players very much. |

| Air turned out to have a great animation quality, it's a bit wierd, but I still find it overall enjoyable with the 2 episodes released so far. |
