Have any of u caught most extreme challenge (mxc) on spike tv? it is a japanese game show that they spoof dub over with goofy american comments. it is really hilarious. and if u like to watch ppl do silly challenges and often end up hurting themselves, then u might like this show. its usually on in evenings/midnight sometime.
the costumes that the japanese ppl wear are usually funny too. they do cosplaying everywhere.

I watch this show when I see it on. The comments aren't all too funny but the stunts the contestants do are hilarious.

I usually watch it when I catch it on TV and I agree with the dubbing. Sometimes its just plain stupid but the things they do is hilarious.

I forgot who told me this but its really a game called Takeshi's Castle where hundreds of people try to storm through the challenges to get a chance to attack Takeshi himself ... one of those two guys always talking. Its basically attritional game .. final few fight against the boss =P

i thought this show was hillarious the first time i saw it. Not only were the challanges drop dead funny but the dubbing left me in tears. Well 10 eps later its just not as funny. I can still sit down and watch but its just kinda... repetative.

hun, i didn't even know they still aired this show!! i loved it when i first watched it, but then i never saw any new eps, so i guess i just quit,. the dubbing is hilarious. but i am glad that i know what the show really is, i was confused, they really do a cut and paste job on it!!

does this show still air in japan, anyone know?

MXC is this takeshi's castle we have in UK its a great show i heard it was on air in japan from 86-89 something like that anyway

my fav games are
dragon lake
Knock Knock (this is great when they go in head first and just bounce straight off the wall)
Bridgeball (this is also great when they get hit straight in the face)

MXC is awesome. true, the commentary can be a bit corny, but the painful stuns are the funniest things ever.

ohhhhh heck yah! i love mxc... although i hated the american version that they taped at universal. it was so weak and americans tend to try to be cool when they are being made fun of, it's so different. the japanesse version is so much better- they are like normal people trying to get across those logs or trying to catch that ball in the mud, when on the other side here in the states they are pumping their fists and pretending to be embarressed.

mxc rules and i love the dubbing.

don't get eliminated!!!!!

It's a guilty pleasure. On the one hand, it's repetitive as hell and reinforces bad stereotypes. On the other hand, it has its moments.
