Least Favourite Ghibli Movie

Don`t get me wrong even with all the other anime out there I still love Ghibli productions. It`s something for the heart and always makes you feel good at the end. So I was wondering, wich one did you like the least? It`s easy to name top 5, what about the bottom two or three?

My least favourite Ghibli would most probably be Ocean waves followed by Pom Poko

Mine is Spirited away................ I just didn`t like it ............... someone will crucify me for this probably, but I can`t help it. Maybe it`s because before I saw it I heard so many great things about it, and I was expecting too much

I never watched Ocean waves, but my least favourite Ghibli must be Pom Poko too. It`s just a bit too strange for my taste

Probably Whispers of the Heart....I saw that when I was 12 and it just made me sleep throughout most of the movie

Castle in the Sky...I have never liked it. I first watched in under the effects of some very heavy post-surgery narcotics and have never liked it since. Plus, James VanderBeek? Ugh!

Favorite : Grave of The Fireflies which almost made me cry.

My least favorite Studio Ghibli production would be Kurenai no Buta (Porco Rosso) and The Cat Returns comes in second.

Yea, Porco Rosso isn`t one of my favourites either. I like The Cat returns though

Man...not that many people like Porco Rosso. I thought it was a great movie, even if it isn't Miyazaki's best work.

I didn`t mean this to be: I dislike thread. It`s just to say, wich one of the ghibli movies you like the least (you can still like it, it`s just that you like all the others more)

There's no Ghibli movie I don't like, (either neutral or good), I haven't seen all of Gibhli movies (I pretty much covered all the rest except, my neighbours the Yamadas and Umi ga kikoeru), but The Cat returns, got to be my least favourite of all the Gibhli movies.

Most Gibhli movies have references to a particular cultural context and way of viewing things (Japanese), so its not suprising why some people won't get the full naunce or feel for some of the Gibhli movies, but that's all right I guess.Movies like, Only Yesterday, Pom Poko, Whisper of the heart are something like that.
