each system has their own strengths and weaknesses
psp has the advantage of the whole UMD and the superior graphics but the battery power is just too weak
the ds has the whole duel screen but lacks in the graphics department
but i favor the psp because it was considered to be the underdog since it is going to be their first hand held |

| I favor hardware myself, which is why I also favor the PSP. (Oh, and I do like many of Sony's titles, the hardware would be pointless without the games) |

i prefer ds only because its nintendo. they have many classics they could use to give them the upper hand. and i heard that the psp screen fades out after a while. _________________ "You can always die. It's living that takes real courage." ~Kenshin Himura

| I have them both. The DS I'm waiting for games like Metroid. The expected games on DS are quite promising. But as of now, I'm only playing Chain of Memories and Advance Wars (which work fine on an SP). As for PSP, the only stuff I have for it are the UMD movies. I really don't have any games for it because none of them were appealing to me. I've played SpiderMan 2, Need for Speed, Twisted Metal and NBA Street. They were basically all rehashes of the console versions. I still have to look into untold legends though. |

| I got a psp for its features. But, the new advance wars game is starting to tempt me to get a DS too. |

| DS for me. Classics never die. The games of DS are more suited or portable play... |

Games that are fun to play??? Because PSP doesn't have any off the top of my head... Better graphics is all fun and games, but if you don't have decent games to back up all the pretty pictures, PSP is going to shape up to be a dissapointment.
As for the DS, I'm still trying to get used to that stylus. It's just plain annoying. Mario 64 just wasn't meant for a stylus. Gotta have that control stick...
Like I said before, I'm hoping Untold Legends is entertaining, or else PSP is fast becoming a big dissapointment. At least I could always watch Spiderman 2 and Pirates of the Carribean.
DS for games. PSP for movies. IPod for music. That's how it is at this time for me.
By the way, does anyone know any good PSP games that are coming out??? Because all I keep seeing are new movies, and that's about it... |

I have been very comfortable with Nintendo especially when you are talking about the portables. I have the old GB, pocket, Color, Advance and SP. That's why I voted DS.
PSP is just too big for me. It can be pretty bad without any casing since you can risk scratches and yup, I don't like the length of gameplay from the battery. I can play up to 8 hours outside the house sometimes. _________________
