PSP or Nintendo DS?

Nintendo owns my soul for the moment with the DS, if Sony wants any share of it with their PSP, they have to work hard, cuz' Advance Wars: Dual Strike is what I'm wasting my gaming hours on these days (did I tell you that it is a great game? Yes? Well I'll tell it to you again then: AW:DS is a great game) and the PSP will have to make something in the likes of FF(insert number letter or weird symbol here) to lure me.

Don't expect the PSP to have any Final Fantasies any time soon. However, you can expect a Final Fantasy III port for the DS. I hear Street Fighter is coming out on the PSP though. But until then, NDS owns the handheld gaming war, hands down.

DS Games I'm looking foward to:

Metroid Prime Hunters
Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana
Final Fantasy III (The original one; not Final Fantasy VI, which was then turned to III for the SNES)
Super Princess Peach
Mario Basketball (Square-Enix has a hand in this one)

Nintendo DS gets my vote , lots of good games on it. like mario kart !!
And also "Elecplay" a show about games . They said that DS is alot more popular and alot more sales than the PSP. DS has a better price and great simple games to enjoy : )

cmon the psp is so much better. u basically get ur money's worth; the graphics the superior gameplay, download movies and music, and it looks WAY better

The psp is a memory, and battery hog!!!! The games are not as inovative as the ones on the DS. I own both, and I would rather have my DS with me.[/spoiler]

Although they are both portable gaming machines I think they serve different people. Nintendo has always appealed to a younger crowd while PSP is more of a multimedia machine for an older audience.

With that said I go with the PSP since I own one.

classics are classics but functionality does have its edge.

I have a DS and I can say that there are no complaints. Games like nintendogs, advance wars, mario kart, and animal crossing are all good games. Playing with friends is great too. Very Happy

PSP indeed has some good quality graphics however there are some games which need quite some time to download.
I prefer DS for his size and also because it's more of a challenge if you have to look at both the upper and bottom screen in some games
(ex: Yoshi Touch n Go).
Moreover you can enjoy interesting multiplayer game such as
Mario Kart DS.

I own a PSP while my brother has a Nintendo DS. I find that the DS has alot more fun games to play while the PSP just relies on it's great graphics and interactiveness. I really enjoy the games for the DS but my vote goes to the PSP for allowing us to go on the internet and download emulators to play SNES games on it Smile

That's what my friend does and it's great hahah. I'm still waiting for some RPGs for the PSP..

PSP man it can hook up to the computer and has so many apps its not funny plus u can basically play any console game on it possible along with it being a music and movie player it just out beats DS horribly sorry guys but id have to say PSP because of all its functions and uses.
