PSP man it can hook up to the computer and has so many apps its not funny plus u can basically play any console game on it possible along with it being a music and movie player it just out beats DS horribly sorry guys but id have to say PSP because of all its functions and uses.
apps? other than being able to play SNES emulator, I don't see any point of having PSP.
Sure you can watch movies and play mp3s. But iPod can do them better.
If I wanted something to watch video and listen to music, I'd buy an iPod. Also it's a pain to put movies and stuff into a puny 1GB memory stick on PSP.
Not to mention PSP's horrible battery life.
If you wanted something for playing portable games, you'll have more fun with DS. Otherwise, if you just want to show off having nice looking gadget, get a PSP. But then again, having a small laptop is 100 times better than PSP. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

I own a PSP while my brother has a Nintendo DS. I find that the DS has alot more fun games to play while the PSP just relies on it's great graphics and interactiveness. I really enjoy the games for the DS but my vote goes to the PSP for allowing us to go on the internet and download emulators to play SNES games on it
That's what my friend does and it's great hahah. I'm still waiting for some RPGs for the PSP..
So the psp wins because it can play (illegally) nintendo games. Anybody else see the irony in this

Hahaha good one! I actually didn't see that.
But, you know that's nothing to be surprised about.
SNES emulation is already a standard app on lot of PDAs.
Even way before PSP came out, I had a friend who used to play SNES games on his PDA. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

I also find it funny how everyone raves and raves about the PSP, but half of them probably don't have it, and probably never will buy it. People who go on specs alone are just making themselves look foolish. Good times. =)
Also, as much raving as the PSP does get, Nintendo DS still continues to beat it in both console and game sales. I'll leave it to the rest of you to figure out why that is...
As for the SNES emulator, once the Revolution comes out, that's one less use for the PSP (it's other use is to sell it on eBay to other unsuspecting spec whores =P).
