PSP or Nintendo DS?

You graphics junkies... =/ All the best graphics in the world cannot save a game if it's not fun to play. So far, that's PSP's problem. (I have still yet to play coded arms since it just came out).

Canvas Curse rocks! All DS owners should check it out! =)

I have both a PSP and a DS so I can safely tell you which one I play more.

My DS. There is only one reason though, Kirby Canvas Curse. The PSP is very lacking in games right now. In a few months the PSP will be pushing out far better games that will dominate the DS but at this point the DS has more enjoyable games. Although Kirby is the only true DS game that has been put out. Wario Ware is just a collection of mini games. Kirby actually uses the features of the DS to improve gameplay.

The PSP is better in the long run. More and more movies are coming out on UMD format which means you'll be able to watch movies on your PSP instead of your portable DVD player. If you haven't purchased a portable DVD player or a MP3 player, a PSP is something you should pick up. There are a few problems I'd like to address with the PSP though. UMD disc can't be played on anything but the PSP which means if you wanted to watch it on your home DVD player, you'd have to get a second copy but on DVD format. The second problem being the MP3 thing. The memory stick that comes with the PSP is only 32 MB big which is roughly 4 or 5 songs. 1GB sticks are around 100 dollars so unless you shell out 100 dollars on top of you 300+ dollar PSP bill, MP3 is out of the question. It's an investment though.

PSP > DS in every aspect except for games right now. My vote goes to the PSP.

i prefer the DS because that is the game all of my favorite series are going to be released for. Despite Square-Enix's good relations with Sony, it's decided to release the FF III & IV game for DS rather than the PSP. Also, you know what a new portable nintendo product means...another Pokemon game. Pearl and Diamond are going to be relased sometime in 2006 so that should be fun also.

Currently, PSP has better games than Nintendo DS, and it can watch movies and listen to MPs. So I think it's better to buy PSP.

i think the graphics on the psp are better then the ds and it also has more features than the ds from what i was told

Well funny thing happen today, someone is saling a PSP for 100 Canadian dollars! Sadly, I only got 60 bucks with me.

OK... I'm taking a break from handheld games because I just got Madden 2006 for PS2. Hell yeah! Oh and by the way, the DS is going to get Final Fantasy 3. No contest anymore. I don't care what games or movies come out for the PSP (yes, even with Advent Children coming out). FF3 dominates all.

Perhaps the only thing that can put PSP over the top now is if they rereleased FF7 for it... yeah right...
