has anyone ever watch pretear anime????

pretear is an old anime. what do you all think about this anime???

I'm not sure I'd call it that!! It was made in 2001, to my mind that's reasonably new. I class anything pre-1990 as old Wink

Back on topic, I love Pretear, it's a wonderful magical girl anime (and the manga is pretty good too!).
There are some pretty decent bishounen in it as well Razz

2001 is fairly old? You guys must be fairly young to think that way. I think something around 1980's old =). An anime series still in the 2000's is relatively recent in my eyes.

I remember watching this anime, it wasn't one of my firsts or recent, but I definitely remember it. I enjoyed it alot. I got alot of laughs from this, I'm not sure if it's from the facial expressions or the actual content. I do remember some sexual innuendo's though such as "b- b- become one?". I don't know alot of people that love this series or hate it, it's more of in the middle. Possibly because of the length.

HATE IT i hate Himeno shes uggggllly = /, i'm not sure why i hate it. My sis keeps insulting Tsubasa Chronicles and saying its a bad anime *Ahhhh sighs at Sakura* so i decided to get back at her = =. yet again i say... himeno is ugly the evil woman has ugly eye brows uglyuglyugly

I thought it was good. Pretty-boys knights guarding against evil with the assistantce from a teenage girl is pretty cliche, but it had a good plot. I was genuinely surprised when silver hair(forgot his name) knight confessed how he felt about that one lady. And then quit his love to go with the one he loved. I think I actually cried, so romantic.

And I didn't think Himeno was supposed to be attractive. Just the guys.

Only watched the first episode, and didn't like it. Well, it's not that i don't like it.. but i guess other anime caught my attention and this one didn't. Winter vacation is only so short.... ^^;;

I own volume 1 and I saw the rest of the episodes on the Anime Network about a year ago when it was on. It wasn't totally awesome, but it wasn't exactly a waste of time either. It didn't strike much of a chord with me obviously since I don't remember much from it. The pretty-boy knights were a turn off (since I'm a guy), but Himeno was pretty cute (and I liked her non-obnoxious step-sister, but she wasn't in it enough to make me happy). The plot is much like the typical magical-girl series, but has a little bit of a twist to it. A better recommendation would be Uta~Kata.
