I just finished watching it. Its probably one of the best ones that I've watched. I highly recommend it to anyone, I got it subbed by Anime-Kraze, a couple might have been by Animeforever, if you wanna pick it up.
Its a beautiful anime, most of it takes place in the sky, great story, etc, I wont talk to much in case you haven't seen it, but its one of the ones that you'll cry when its over, cuz you loved it so much. Also I'd give it my vote for Most Fitting OP.
BRIEF OVERVIEW:
Klaus and Ravey, two Vanship pilots, are determined to do what their fathers died trying to do; Cross the Grand Stream, the most turbulent airspace that their is. While this is one of the underlying themes, its not what this whole anime is about.
There are three warring countries, the highly technological Guild, and the other more primitive Deusis and Anourea. Alex Rowe, an ex-Vanship pilot that survived the mission that Klaus and Ravey's parents died in, is out for vengeance on the leader of the Guild, Maestro Delphine.
There is a machine Exile, believed to be the ultimate power in the world, can only be unlocked by a young girl, Arvis. In a strange series of events Klaus and Ravey end up on a mission to deliver Arvis to Alex Rowe on his ship the Silvanna. Klaus and Ravey join up with Alex and their adventures begin.

I don't really consider that a boss, but ok. It wasn't really about the machine as much as the people. Still excellent.
CGY, yea listen to your friends, their smart

It is one of my favourite animes...
I thought it kinda boring at first but I got totally absored later on..
couldn't wait to see the next episode
it's got great OST.. although the story line seems a bit...
lacking sometimes... and ya.. the ending was a bit lame though... |

| I was hooked from the fist episode. I loved the animation and the way they intergated CG with it was really good. It ended to soon they should had another episode or two to sum up what happened and see what happened to the main characters. |

I like series like that also, of course the god-like strength shows can be pwnific, like Bleach.
Yea Last Exile was good cause they were all making it on their own fairly realistic power. It might not have been as good if they were more than just humans.

Yea this anime is a very good one by present standards.
If you can I would recommend getting the KickAssAnime subs.
They're DVD quality so it's about 5-6 Gb's maybe. _________________

Its totally awesome, the best use of cg and animation in anime that I have seen in a while... if ever!
Too bad it only seems to be the first volume out here in England... can't find it anywhere else *sob* |

Referring to the Anime, it seems to be a great series based on an "alternative present(past?)" where the industrial revolution followed a different path.
The animation was good and they are broadcasted in 16:9 (in the begining I thought all the characters were weird looking until I noticed this.. lol) |

| I was hooked on this anime because of the ending song(Hitomi-Over the sky). Well, it did not explain much where Alvis come from. I am glad she stole the goat stuffed toy. |
