Well I don't know how many football fans are here (the real football!! ) but here goes...
The first day we had lackluster Portugal going down down to spirited Greece 2-1 deservedly as well as Epsanol (Spain) beating the Russians 1-0. With these results, the host nation must certainly win 1 game and draw 1 of the remaining two games at the least to be able to qualify for the quarters. Not an easy task perhaps.
Today's matchup. France vs England. I only have one wish and that is to see France lose all matches (boy did I enjoy World Cup 2002 ). Also Switzerland vs Croatia. |

| I'm waiting for the Olympics for football. The World Cup was amazing, my dad and I would wake up at like 5am to watch games. |

The Olympics football team can only comprise of amateur players except for 3 professionals (the professionals inclusion was a recent change).
So basically Olympics football is treated by the FAs as a chance to blood their under-25s who are not playing as professionals.
Yep I hope France gets beaten... going to start in 2 hours... |

| I've always been a little confused with the Olympics. As far as I know, only amateurs are able to participate in the games. So what’s the deal with basketball and hockey? |

whats with watching sports anyways? i hate watching sports, the way i see it is why watch it when u can play it _________________ Attached to her silhouette near me, to every moment of her tenderness, vaguely, I came back to the distant childhood,

Wow... can't believe there are so many anti-France fans here. I myself is a France supporter though I am not french. I guess I became a France supporter because I am always a Arsenal fan (since their team is mostly french players). I do support England but sometimes I think England is way too overrated. Don't get me wrong, they are good, but against other European teams, they have to work extra hard.
I did felt sorry for England today after the match. It sucks big time to concede 2 goals at injury time. |

I shall never understand why Emile Heskey gets selected into the English squad (and in Liverpool too, before he got kicked out ) . |
