Has it come out? I really cannot wait nor my little brother and cousin. I mean, the place it is going to take place and the skillful driving they will need. My anticipation is jumping out of me as I jump out of my seat waiting to watch live action.

I watched it.... the way they talk is HILARIOUS... I'm not sure if it will be the same in english, but here is a part of the dialouge from what I remember, only read it if you want.

Some of the characters are weird and messed up. One of them is Itsuki, he's a weird combo of Iketani and Itsuki + a lot of cockiness.

Here is a piece of dialogue between Itsuki/Iketani hybrid and Takumi

Hybrid: I want to be a racer, I will be the head of Speedstars, I will be king in Mt Akina.
Takumi: Didn't you just get ur license last year?
Hybrid: This is what you call potential. Simply, lets say drifting, how? Turn in the corner. Pull handbrakes. Car jolt and slide. What about it? its Cool!
Takumi: The car would be slow then..
Hybrid: how to then?
Takumi: Floor it, don't slow down too much in the turn. *fakes engine sounds* then counter steer.."
Hybrid: Then you'll end up at the bottom of the cliff and then you die. Nevermind that, you got the license with me, yet you haven't evne touched the steering wheel. Why don't you join my team?
Takumi: I don't have a car.
Hybrid: Don't need a car, you are responsible to wash my car. Think about it, I drive. You wash. What a future!

And then he goes on about all this shit. I don't think I did a very good job of translating, also, it just won't be as funny without hearing the tone he talks in. And that's the way the Hybrid guy talks like, short sentences.

hey the story's all messep up. the characters.. their soul has been modified.. but the racing part's good..

some sort of a disappoinment to me, but then adaptations are always like that, just like for american comics to movies..

that movie sucked. the story sucked. Only good thing was the racing, other than that. the movie sucked.
I happen to be a big ID fan, but they just butchered this one. Oh well at least I got the new eps to take my mind off.

The Movie is a disappointment... Jay Chou should just stick with singing instead of acting. He is like a "Wood" although he is quite cute during the show.

The racing is ok... but not too grand, the BGM is dead boring (The anime is 100x better), some of the characters is more like a joke...

2 thing nice about the show, Bunta is entertaining and Natsuki is cute ^^
Nothing more I can say about the movie, however I got to give it a credit for the comedy... Especially the time when Bunta fall down the stairs and still sleeping soundly...
