I believe that Japanese manga and American manga both have their benefits. Japanese manga offers more entertainment, more drama, more action, more fun. American manga uses more detail in their artwork and drawing. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I prefer Japanese manga over American manga too mainly because as mnay metion before, in JP manga, anyone can be a superhero. On the other hand, in American manga, the story is too focused on the superhero.

Definitely Japanese manga. I like the style of drawing. There are many kinds of stories, ranging from daily life to superhero.

wow, interesting, I didn't know that. But I wouldn't try out that "american" made stuff. Well, I like the japanese art better.

youre going to find some crap unoriginal, by the book, mainstream stuff in both western and Jap comics. i prefer Japanese manga but theres some worthwhile American comics out there if you know what youre looking for. of course most people here are going to vote Jap but thats cause this is an anime/manga site and also cause some people here dont know american comics that well. theres just as many American comics as Japanese comics that break the formulaic mould that dominates both comics
