I don't think Yakitate!Japan is idiotic but when I heard the name in my country language I thought so too. In my language they stranlate Yakitate!Japan is "King of bread" I thought "What the". Yakitate!Japan is hilarious, they're so funny espcailly the Kuroyanagi guy and other judge, they're so weird yet funny. I can't stop laughing. |
I thought the funniest part was when that guy tasted his own seaweed bread thing and had the same reaction as that one judge and was in his memory as the girl. I couldnt stop laughing hahaha. itd be funny if ppl actually have reactions like that. |

Funniest part for me was when they found out that Kotou(small, midget dude) was 31. The expression on everyone's faces was pure comic.
Anyway, reading this manga didn't make me wanna cook, cuz they didnt include any ingredients, and procedures. Reading Addicted to Curry, now THAT made me wanna cook! It included the ingredients and the procedures (I even made one, and I must say it tasted good, although prolly not as good) |

Yes! yesyesyesyes!
I was wondering if I were crazy or something when I suddenly developed the pressing urge to cook! Bake! More, more, and more!
And for nearly a month after I drooled at the sight of bread and ate too much of it !
Sadly, bread in real life is not as good as it seems (or is??) in Yakitate!... |

Oh...there is actually a thread about this? Hehe...but yea, when I read the manga I think to myself "How awesome would it be to make bread like that". Of course I haven't actually tried because I can't bake anything but cookies. The bread that they make in the manga definately looks delicious though. If only I could buy those types of bread in real life, although I think they would be rather expensive.
When I think about it now. Reading Yakitate Japan makes me feel like baking cookies....close enough to bread right? |
