If I can't feel anything for characters, then there's normally no point for me to watch the show. I always try to think about the situations, and how I would react or how I think they should react. That's just me having an overactive imagination, but I enjoy shows alot easier that way. Of course, I feel worse when people bash particular shows but opinions are opinions. Since I can get into shows pretty easily, my tolerance for them is pretty high and I like most things that I watch.
It also keeps me away from posts like "This show sucks because it sucks." kind of replies. _________________ Running from your problems only wastes time... They always catch up either way. |

i would feel something for an anime character only when the anime itself is able to make me feel the character. _________________ http://s2.darkpirates.com/c.php?uid=73670 |

or when the story is too touching... |

| Mostly I just feel moved but then again I must have read to many detective stories because i'm always guessing what is going to happen next and how it'll unfold which usually takes away from the impact unless it is unexpectd ofcourse. |

I think that it is what makes the difference between a good or an average anime ^^ Actualy if the anime can't make you feel sadness or happiness, love or hatred.. I think something is missing ! but even thinking this way, I still feel ashamed sometimes to feel for an anime character |

| If the writers have done a good job, you should certainly be subject to a certain amount of empathy. One mark of a poorly written anime - in my opinion - is characterization that leaves me cold. The story needs to pull me in, make me care about the characters. |
