is it me or does anyone else feel for an anime character?

I couldnt watch an anime without getting emotional even if it was a little sad my tears drop by herself (note that i watch every anime expect for Air i couldnt dont ask why just till me what happened in the end what was Misuzos last words please i cant watch it until now because my family always witnes me when am about to watch any anime so preety please)

For me it depends on the quality of the anime. Obviously, if i don't feel that the character is 'real' and his/her problems or triumphs are 'real' then i can't empathise with them.

Yeah......just deppends on the character or story.......like you just cant help but feel for characters in Honey and Clover......

I tend to give more simpathy towards characters in manga tho.......I see more character development in those.....

who could watch without emotion ,unless he forced to, we?re humen you know... i kinda like memoriable animes that stuck on my head night and morning and pulls my emotions out. hmm...i think men must not shed tears as women do ...dont you think so!!

I've seen Air like two or three times now and I get teary-eyed after every episode, every time. Oh man, just thinking about poor Misuzu and the troubles she went through... ::sniff sniff::

I've also had crushes on certain characters... if that counts as "feeling" for them. Miharu Sena Kanaka (Girls Bravo), Milfeulle Sakaraba (Galaxy Angel), Tohno Minagi (Air) and Mikuru Asahina (MoHS) all have won my affections at one point or another.
