Ive just read the book. Just finished about few days ago. For all of you who have seen the movie, I want to know if its worth watching.

*Sigh* Still cant find other Douglas Adams' books. Too bad Sad

I havent seen the movie but It´s supposed to be good, if youre not a quality freak you can always download it.

About the other books in the hitchhikers series: they arent as good as the original. Not very much happens in them, lots of long explanations though.

The movie isn't that great actually. Haven't read the book though.

You should read the book. Its hilarious. first it looks as if it points to nowhere. Just read. Its a great book.

well i like to think of myself as an expert on this subject. ok the thing is have you read all 5 books or just the first one. and if youve only read the first one then go read the rest. so for the new movie, its good but it doesnt follow the book all that much. but dont get me wrong its still worth watching. but if you like old school british comedy(i.e. monty python and the such) then i would suggest the original Tv show made for BBC. its like 6 episodes that combine to form a straight through storyline. and this old one follows the book much closer.
now as for other douglas adams book check out dirk gently's holistic detective agency, and the long dark tea time of the soul.

i've watched the movie, now i wanna read the book but nowadays, i can only find the movie version of the book not the original...

Damn. They dont sell those other Adams' books here. And neither do Kinokuniya. They only sell the first one.

Thank god Id bought my copy of it a few week before the movie. ^_^

P.S. I like Hoolovoos (sp?) Very Happy

I found the movie okay. It wasn't that good but it was funny, but more in a retarded sense.

Haven't read the book, but I did watch the movie...

I don't want to spoil anything (too important ;]), but the randomness of it was REALLY REALLY funny...

The book is the best book I've ever read and then I mean all of them combined the humor is just the best ever I love this kind of messed up comedi.
