What I'm going to cover is the general facts that really makes a good book, a good read:
-the ability to make you get glued to it
-when you read the book, you find yourself turning the page without realising, as you may be to engrossed in reading
-the book is able to potray facts, legends, myths that entwined with the story
-a book with a riveting touch |

Most books have all those qualities (Except maybe the third) for me.
I'm good at concentrating on books....A little too good for my own good...I can read a book, any book in english, from 7 a.m. to 4 a.m. Though I usually don't do that...I finished the 6th harry potter book in a day.....Robert Jordans 11th book took me two days. I read a university Biology textbook in 3 days....One of the driest books in my memory.....It was over a thousand pages if I remember correctly......Had a lot of pictures though.....Those pictures saved me from dying of boredom _________________ [img:309:200:9b3695521e]http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8583/dobedobedojs0.jpg[/img:9b3695521e] |

my favorite one would have to be "The City And The Stars" by Arthur C. Clarke second would be his "Childhoods End" because they were my first favorites.
after that id say its "A Midsummer Nights Dream" by shakespeare and Cyrano De Bergerac, but cyrano first.
but now for my other favorites. i really like the chronicles of narnia, Everworld, Lord of the rings set, mossflower(havent read redwall yet),C.S. Lewis's sci fi trilogy- "out of the silent planet" "parelandra" and "that hideous strength", Harry potter, Animorphs,.
as for authors- C.S. Lewis Arthur C. Clarke, K.A. Applegate, Garth Nix, Peter Lauwrangis(or however you spell it),and Shakespeare sorta. _________________ DO THESE LOOK LIKE THE EYES OF A JIGOLO O_O !?

My favorite books were the A Child Called "It" series, by David Pelzer.
It was about a young boy who was abused throughout his childhood years. Later, he was put into foster care.
These books really brought tears to my eyes after reading them. _________________ [IMG:432:143:0a18b764ae]http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c315/Reiswinds/betternastysigD.gif[/img:0a18b764ae] |

I'm currently reading "Family diagnosis something or other"...
It's a book for General Practitioners about common illnesses in the family from children to the elderly.
No pictures And very very boring.
But what the heck, I'll read it anyways _________________ [img:309:200:9b3695521e]http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8583/dobedobedojs0.jpg[/img:9b3695521e] |

My favorit book ever was the Fountainhead by Aynn Rand that book was lifechanging, but a little brainwashing and a little crazy
I Game by Neil Strauss and the Weel of Time Series also The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Green which is one of the coolest evilest books ever. |

haha i use to love goosebumps.
but harry potter series are kinda dead to me now.
same with "the da vinci code" and "angels&demons"
they're not that good. liked "in death" series by J.D. Robb
homocide mysteries. _________________ "The basis of optimism is sheer terror."
