I know you're writing chinese font in the topic.. but maybe care to edit the title so people who don't have chinese characters installed don't get a bunch of jibrish?

*Raise hand* I'm Chinese. I can read, write, and say it. But, I learned Chinese in Chinese school. But Chinese school is soooo boring. Mine is winryrockbell. but I can't write my Chinese name cuz my computercan't type Chinese words. This is how you pronounce it though, Lai Hiu Guan. Well, something like that. I can't give the accurate pronounciation though.

Simplified : 许明晋
Traditional : 許明晉

Pronounce it Xu Ming Jin. Chinese is extremely hard to learn as you need to understand PinYin and there are A LOT of characters to learn. Besides that, there are many dialects such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and TeoChew.

Yup, I'm Chinese. I speak very little mandarin, I hear Hokkien very well, but can't speak well. I live in Indonesia. My Chinese name is Lim Wen Xiang. I have no MSI so can't write in chinese.

Anyways, I live in Singapore now and found out that sometimes I am completely stumped at their chinese. I can say that I don't really understand them well Sad

Im also Indonesian-Chinese, I suck at Chinese. Thats why i take tuition for it, for mandarin. Too bad i dont have any chinese name................ yet

no, Im not Chinese, but Im interested in the Chinese culture. Is the language really as hard as most say? I heard that its hard because you have to memorize a lot of things, but memory's no prob for me...

BTW, according to this one site, If I had a Chinese name it would be something like "Wu Gao Rui"...its based on pronounciation, though.

The sound also makes it worst. I'm incredibly bad at that. One sentence of Wo Ai Ni (I love you) takes me 20 minutes to get the sound right Laughing
