Okusama wa Joshikousei

Just finished watching it. It's ok romantic, comedy, i'll have to watch a few more episodes to think if i should continue watching it or not Confused

I have a feeling that this is one of those series that creates more questions than answers. Anyone have a guess as to how old this physics teacher is? I'm hoping he's fresh out of college, then maybe it would "alright" for him to date a high schooler, otherwise we slip into the "creepy" realm of anime.

Where is Asami's mother? Why doesn't Asami hang out with her friends at all after school (maybe to help hide her secret, I suppose)? I haven't seen Ichigo 100% so I don't have much to compare this series to, but anyone who is interested in this type of show may want to see "He is My Master/Kore Ga Watashi no Goshujin-sama" which is FS released on this site up to episode 9, I believe.

To me..it's kinda like Ichigo 100% but i hope it gets a little more interesting.

IMHO, Ichigo 100% girls are simply irresistable while okusama is merely so-so. Well, I must agree that the way they progress and story being unfold 1 by 1 is pretty amusing.

I think this is a nice anime even better than Ichigo 100% perhaps? But when comes to artwork or character design... Ichigo 100% is unbeatable.
Well, is just an 8 years gap, no big deal. I think this is a sweet ecchi anime ^^ can't wait for the 4th ep.

I don't think it's the age that people are really sweating but the fact that he is a teacher and she is his student. I thought the teacher was going to find out their secret or we was going to get some of her story on a teacher/student relationship. Sad

I was wrong on both accounts!

this anime is not like ichigo. I reckon SUzuka is almost like ichigo. Not much humour into it, just short of gals. This is more romantic in a way.

Well I'm scratching my head out on some of the cheap situations and even though the Opening and Ending rather annoys me a bit...I'll still stick around a while and watch further plot developments...

But personally I like Suzuka better... lolz Laughing

Yuun, you should really watch the episodes of Suzuka. Maybe you should change your expectations. I can almost promise you that episode 6 is where you'll start to like Suzuka. I can't spoil it for you but if you can, just try to watch through the 4 and 5 episode, episode 6 is great! I think people should stop comparing Love Hina to Suzuka around this time, at least comparing this anime to Ichigo 100% is reasonable but Suzuka is nothing like Love Hina. That's like comparing Basilisk to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.

Just so this thread won't get locked, let's drop this discussion about Suzuka because mods can't seem to realize that even if a subject does change inside a thread, it doesn't last for the rest of the eternity and it will eventually turn back on subject.

this is not like ichigo at all.. spec the manga, ichigo manga may be ecchi, but okusama wa joushikousei is more in bet the echi-hentai line in most parts of the manga, id have to conclude that after 'seeing' 50 chapters of it. (i just wish i could 'read' jap) but the images can be very self explanatory imo.

the anime is really toned down evenmore so than ichigo100%...

LIME just released episode 8, but none of the fan-sub groups have released episode 7. Anyone know why?
