Okusama wa Joshikousei

If you read the manga than you would know that there is only one word needed to sumarize the overall direction/motive of this series

bakunyuu!

hopefully the production won't tone down the echiness like they did with Ichigo 100%... otherwise all that will be left is a very weak, half-baked romantic comedy

that's what i think, at least. i haven't read the manga yet but having seen the first episode, it seems that the ecchiness lvl is at the same caliber as ichigo 100%'s.

now im going to look for the manga O_o

<edit> okay, finished watching the 1st episode. yep, the ecchiness lvl is near the lvl of ichigo100%'s. the story is straightforward and unoriginal, but fun to watch nonetheless. the characters bore me so far... even the highschool girl/wife seems like a static character (it's only the 1st episode so who knows?). the music isn't very good either; in fact, the ED song and music video are terrible.

i guess this is my new ichigo100%. i hope i won't give up on it like i did with the former.

the last scanslation attempt for this series was by the group "manga-co-or-something-similar" circa 2003-4
and there hasn't been another group since then...

japanese: vol 1-7 are out, and its serialized in Young Jump

it helps to read japanese -.' '.-

BTW: OP/ED songs are very bad, even by anime OP/ED standards

and lol,

its being made by Avex mode (same company that made Ichigo 100%)

so the animation looks disapointingly similar to Ichigo TV.... seems like they saved money by recycling old backrounds...

Also Asami(the main girl) and Aya from Ichigo 100% are nearly identical to begin with so this might as well be ichigo TV 2...

Meh, some parts of the first epi had me going "Hehehehe", lol.

I'm too busy reading the song lyrics and watching the words bounce and move to notice the opening animation XD.

Dang, the echiiness is toned down? I sorta wanna know what they cut out...

Oh well, can't wait to see what happens when people find out that they are married.

Hehehe, she wants to get laid XD.

hehehe... i wonder why do i get the feeling of "Ichigo 100%" when i was watching this one... now i know they were made by the same company huh?

to business:

Con:

OP/ED sequence AND music doesnt appeal to me...
Feeling of being rushed (even though i dont read the manga, somehow...)
Bad way of introducing character, or they didnt introduce it properly...
Asami could be a potential annoying character... also one of her friends (the hyperactive one)

Pro:

Storyline is intriguing, i have too many questions that needs to be answered...
Potential twists and turns...

so... many cons and pro, but they still managed to keep me on for ep 2... (storyline factor)

Just saw the first episode, it was kind of ok

They turned down the echiness from the manga a lot since the manga was boderline hentai

Well the manga was way over the limits of normal time TV showing. The manga had sex, naked scenes all over. And currently it is at chapter 87 now.

They had to tone down alot from the manga if they want to make it a TV series, which they did. The manga is considered to be reaching a h-manga works, but still under the eechi category for now I guess.

This anime is a lot better than Ichigo 100% in my opinion. The storyline is another ecchi story about a student-teacher relationship but it mixes very well with Ichigo 100% in it's own little way. I really enjoyed watching this, and didn't get bored to tears like I did with the 1st episode of Ichigo. I'm surely following this series.

It is not exactly a teacher-student relationship. THEY ARE ALREADY MARRIED to each other =)

Just that they kept it a secret from everybody excepting their parents.

It is the typically romantic, drama love story, with fanservice mixed in it. Well there are already way too many types of that series around, so adding 1 more in isn't going to be too much of a difference =p
