I was looking some reviews of some players and some "specialist".
And something they said made me feel kinda angry and kinda worried.
They said: "European games are becoming better than Japaneses, actually they are already better."
I think itīs an stupid point he said, beyond he said that every fighting games are the same.
But (here is my point) most of the japense fighting games are made to arcades not to consoles and itīs one of the most dificult thing to inovate in this area and most of the best games are Japanese, no one can deny that any other company is like Square Enix, and no European company match a Konami, Namco, Capcom or Fromsoftware, thatīs a fate! Yes there are some good European games like Killzone, but you canīt see so many as Japanese ones. Itīs like one against thousands.
One Killzone against one Metal Gear (And itīs far better than Killzone) or an Ace Combat (that has one of the best sound tracks).
And i think that is the same to American games, they can say "Look the same fighting game but with a +1 in the end" and how many NHL, NBA, NFL or other Fifa we will see? 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and it will goes until God knows.
And the quality is diferent too, one Fifa against one Winning Eleven (Pro Evolution Soccer to Europe)?
And another thing that makes no sense. "Forza Motorsport is better than GT4". Non sense, who already played both knows what Iīm saying, GT4 has better phisics, better engine, better sounds, better controls, better graphics and GT mode that is the spirit of the game.
Itīs better if i stop here or it wont stop.
The last line: What do u think?

Well, in the end, different people has different opinions, don't you think? Wink

But for me, I prefer more on the games released by the Japanese. Why?? Maybe it is because I like more of their games design and all sorts.

There is no way the majority of European games is going to be better than the Japanese games, although some of them may seem to be better. Japanese games have better graphics, as well as great storylines!

Itīs more like a wrath, itīs the tipical things that people who thinks that understand something says and most of the people belive, itīs like I say "Manga sucks and ALL American comics are better" (please understand that I prefer manga and itīs just an example).
Most of the people who donīt understand well the diference will think that and itīs a general though.

Japanese for me, because they have better storylines. For example, Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Solid. Oh and all the Final Fantasies....

Isn't all this talk about which country makes better games a matter of personal preference. I mean, I love the FPS and sports games made by American and European companies but I also love the action and RPG games made by Japanese companies. This should not be an arguement about who is better, but rather about who produces the types of games that we find the most fun to play.

Well, at least this is what I think. Anyone is free to refute this if they like.
