i have played and own both xenosaga 1 and 2 but i think that xenosaga 3 is going to be by far the best since it is coming out for the ps3 and will cost more than 1 and 2

Honestly thought, I don't see why it "should" be better if it costs more.

I agree with Frundock. Well, we'll just have to see how the progress goes with the production team of Xenosaga. I heard that the writer is quitting after Xenosaga II. Hope that it is wrong though Sad

Yes, they were previously in Squaresoft. I think they left Squaresoft for certain reason. I forgotten why.....

Just heard the news from one of my friend. He says that the writer DID quit, but he has finished writing the story for the 3rd episode. Unfortunately, that will also mark the end of the Xenosaga sequels. High probable it will be in PS2, but I think we need more time for the news from Monolith.

there is the point that xeno 1 and 2 sold less then they expected in the first so they got discouraged and wanted to stop after the third.

another thing i'm confused about. is it sure that xeno3 will be the last one out . i didnt see the interview, but what if they meant it is the end of that timeline (with shion) if i remember corrsctly the 6 parts were supposed to have around 10,000 years in between.

I love this series. A lot of people complain about the long cut scenes, but I just make some popcorn and chill while I watch them. Anyway...I can't wait for the next game.
