| Snake Eater. The intro for that game is so corny, that whole James Bonde-ish theme song. But all in all it was a good game. |

| Nothing beats the original MGS1 if you ask me. Ok the graphics not the best but who cares about all that stuff. And in twin snakes he did all those corny matrix kind of stunts so it wasn't as good if you ask me. MGS2 was ok and I haven't beaten MGS3 yet but still I say MGS1 is best |

it's not really a remake...more like an enhancement...to the revolutionary and most prestigious MGS game made. imagine MGS1 with the Graphics of MGS2...that rocks! _________________

| MGS1 is great and if you consider the time gap, its definately the best. MGS2 was actually really good, but the american voice acting totally ruined it. MGS3 is the most fun, but its different and takes time to get used to. overall, i personally find the limited mechanics and worse graphics of MGS1 easier to use than the differences of MGS3. |

MGS1, all the way. Old-school gameplay, great story, and It was THE reason I bought a Playstation, way back when. And you'll notice I'm NOT talking about Twin Snakes, because that game was kinda like MGS1, but without the skill (because of first-person), and more like professional wrestling (because of the obscenely unrealistic stunts Snake does in the cutscene. What? A missle? BACKFLIP!!!!).
Next best was MGS3. The story was great, the gameplay was good after you figured out that Snake didn't hide particularly well behind trees, and the game figured out how to resolve itself. I'm all for leaving the ending a little vague, but seriously:
MGS2's ending sucked. Basically, it didn't have an ending, it just sort of... stopped... The tanker chapter was pretty fun though. Especially the second photo projector room.... heh. The gameplay was fine, and it made sense that the enemies might check in with each other now and then, so it was neat that you couldn't just murder everyone in the room to get by.
My main thing with MGS games is... why do they ever call the search off? You'd think after having an enemy agent infiltrate your base, you'd, I dunno, try to find him? But no, hide in a locker for a minute, and they are all like, "It's okay, was just a cat" or something. Granted, I could never ever ever beat the game if they DIDN'T just go away, but meh.
You can stop reading now. |

| i like the game play of msg3 more than the rest. especially the part where you can camouflage with outfits, but msg2's storyline is better |

MGS2 for me. I've heard a lot of people hate it because of Raiden. I didn't care too much and the story was damn cool. I tried MGS3 but couldn't really get into it. I don't have that much time to play and I was overwhelmed with story at the beginning. _________________ http://www.ariakon.com/images/RIsElite.jpg |
