i like the way it goes but a mmorgp (?) needs to have action like . hack legends

Whats the correct viewing order of the .hack// series? I only watched one episode of the anime, but I found it cool (or maybe it's cause im a total anime addict ... nah whats the chances of that?? Very Happy

Although I didn't watch .hack//Sign but I'm currently watching .hack//The Legend of Twilight and reading the manga! Furthermore, after this show in YTV, I'm definitly want to watch .hack//Sign. Overall the storyline is appealing Cool

yeah.. this anime has an original idea and a whole new context which make this anime pretty interesting.. plus.. I LOVE THE MUSIC!!

great anime for both series
the hack signs was more story plot than action
hack sign twlight was more action n funny than the other one

I was thinking that I saw all the anime related to .hack//, but what are the .hack//AI Buster .hack//Zero and .hack//The Legend of Twilight's Bracelet?
And where I have to put .hack//Dusk and .hack//Gift?

AI Buster and Zero are novels that have only been released in Japan, although AI Buster is supposed to be coming out later this year in the US.
The Legend of the Twilight's Bracelet is the official name for Dusk.
Gift takes place after the end of the games, but before The Legend of the Twilight's Bracelet.

Is it possible to just watch SIGN, LIMINALITY and DUSK in that order? Or is it important for the plot to see AI Buster, Zero, Infection, Outbreak, Mutation and Quarantine?

that is possible, but to completely understand the story and fill all the plot holes, you'll have to see everything

although each part can stand alone to some degree, the most important part is the four games; the games have the central story and all the other parts just explain what happens before the games (AI Buster, Zero, Sign), after the games (Dusk), or provide details about the events in the games (Liminality)
